With the bamboo sticks as an extension of the hands it’s easy to palpate, find tension, and dissolve knots and trigger points. The warm bamboo is used to knead and stretch muscle and fascia to promote deep healing within the tissues. The massage can go as light or as deep as necessary, however, it is incredibly effective for deeper work. The large surface area of the bamboo  means I am able to get a really nice firm pressure without that ‘pokey/diggy’ feeling you can sometimes get in other types of massage and the heat of the bamboo is deeply relaxing, helping to release the underlying layers of tissue.
